The Asilomar Reading Conference provides professional development in reading and writing development and instruction. Workshop topics include, but are not limited to effective reading strategies, writer’s workshop, managing and designing small group instruction, Response to Intervention, and working with English Language Learners. With the Common Core Standards coming to California, we will also be offering sessions on how to integrate and use the Common Core in your classroom to enhance instruction and student learning. In addition to these wonderful workshops, we offer exciting keynote speakers who will motivate and revitalize you to finish the school year with enthusiasm and rigor!
