David Mocton
President
David Mocton has been a driving force at Hertz Furniture since 1998 and was appointed President in 2015. With a deep commitment to customer satisfaction and strategic growth, he has played a key role in expanding Hertz Furniture’s national presence and strengthening client relationships.
As President, David oversees all aspects of the company, while directing financial strategy, operational goals, and long-term business planning. He also works closely with the board of directors to shape company strategy and drive innovation. Under his leadership, Hertz Furniture established its Project Solutions team, the first all-inclusive turnkey service in the industry offering clients expert planning, design, and installation services—at no additional cost.
In 2022, Hertz Furniture embarked on a bold expansion strategy, acquiring School Furnishings to strengthen its presence in the New England market.
