Grand Prize Winner is Kim Ingram, Teacher in Tennessee Head Start Classroom
Mahwah, NJ (November 5, 2011) This week, Hertz Furniture announced the winner of its Century of Dedication sweepstakes, sponsored by Hertz Furniture and Hygloss Products. Kim Ingram, an assistant teacher in the Head Start classroom at Hunter Elementary School, located in Elizabethton, Tennessee, is the grand prize winner.
Mrs. Kim, as she is affectionately called by everyone in the Carter County Head Start program, received a four-branch A+ Collaboration Activity Table from Hertz Furniture that allows children to work independently or to face each other for collaborative learning and $150 in school supplies from Hygloss Products, the arts and crafts superstore. Mrs. Kim can use the gift certificate for teaching supplies, scrapbooking materials, and arts and crafts products. Carter County Head Start Director Peggy Campbell says of Mrs. Kim, “She greets her students each day with a smile and makes learning fun in our Hunter Head Start classroom.”
The veteran teacher was grateful for the prizes that will enhance collaborative learning in her classroom, and she commented, “We have received the activity table and we love it. We do however, have one problem: we have 20 students and they all want to sit at the new table!”
