Tsivya Fox, School Matters Blog Author

Tsivya Fox has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Queen’s College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the State University of Oneonta.  She has three children and has published a beloved children’s book.

 

 

 

 

 

Portrait of Rhonda Rougeau, Furniture specialistRhonda Rougeau received a Master’s of Art from New York University. She is a Registered Interior Designer with significant expertise in space planning, FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment) and project management.  Rhonda has extensive experience in client business development and marketing including leading design teams in corporate, medical, institutional, hospitality and multi-family projects.  Rhonda has  taught fine art at the university level. In addition, she has exhibited and won awards from various institutions including The Brooklyn Museum, The Guggenheim Museum, Hirshhorn Museum and the Sculpture Garden at the Smithsonian Institution.

 

Josi Gebhardt - Project Specialist Josi Gebhardt joined the Hertz Furniture Project Solutions team in 2014. Upon obtaining a degree in interior design, she began her career designing for Xybix, an ergonomic furniture manufacturer. Josi dedicated over eight years to creating custom furniture designs, space planning, specifying finishes, compiling proposals and managing bid responses.

Josi takes pride in providing creative solutions that exceed the expectations of the end users. She enjoys building long-lasting relationships with clients, staying on top of current interior design trends and seeing her projects through to completion.

Josi was born and raised in Colorado, where she learned to treasure the outdoors at a very early age. Josi resides in Centennial, CO where she enjoys living an active outdoor lifestyle that includes activities such as camping, hiking, 4-wheel driving, running and gardening.  Josi stays entertained by her three rescued dogs who always bring a smile to her face.

 

Jonathan Yunger, VP of Online Marketing at Hertz FurnitureJonathan Yunger is the VP of Online Marketing at Hertz Furniture. He has a BBA in Marketing Management from the City University of New York and has worked for many years in in both online marketing and technology services.  Jonathan’s current role allows him to be both creative and analytic and love his job. Jonathan is an occasional contributor to the School Matters blog.

Noam Shapiro has been a teacher for nearly a decade, with experience in a wide variety of educational settings, including lower school, middle school, high school, and post-high school. He also has taught in both private schools and public schools, in the United States as well as internationally. Noam’s areas of interest in education include: student-centered learning, collaborative learning, and promoting parent-teacher-student communities built on the principles of honesty and respect.

 



Karmi Gross was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida and holds two Master’s Degrees in Education. He has been a classroom teacher for 35 years as well as a school principal for the past 17. Karmi has lectured extensively on a wide range of educational topics, including concept-centered curriculum development, standards based teaching, and moral education. Karmi currently serves as an educational consultant and curriculum director for schools in the US and South Africa.

Kate Cohen holds a Master’s Degrees in Elementary Education from the City University of New York and in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Practice in Schools from Columbia University. In addition to her experience as a social work intern and classroom teacher in New York City public schools, Kate has taught early childhood music classes and written elementary a math curriculum for a digital teaching platform. She currently enjoys raising her two children and writing educational materials.

 

 

Mor Rossler, educational video bloggerMor Rossler holds a dual Masters degree in Early Childhood  and Special Education  from Hunter College in New York City. Over the past several years, Mor has taught both early childhood and special education in private and public schools in New York City. In addition to blogging about topics in education, Mor is currently teaching privately and mentoring parents of children with special needs.

 


Miriam Loeb is an accomplished educator with a degree in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University. She has taught students in both public and private schools, served as the co-director of a special ed program and received training in Montessori Methods, Early Childhood Education, the Orton Gillingham Method of Reading, and teaching ESL. Miriam has served as a mentor to numerous young educators and currently teaches privately.
