Since it’s pretty much a given that good eating go hand in hand with physical activity for the best mental and physical health, you are right on the button.

At times it was fast, difficult and costly for the manufacturers and the schools to keep up. But I think a big part of the picture was left out. What about physical activity and bringing back PE, recess to schools. If we are forcing or encouraging students to eat better at school why can’t we force/encourage recess and PE? We all know the benefits of physical activity and most of us have experienced the benefits first hand with children. Plus there are many studies to support the benefits of physical activity, PE and recess with students. Why isn’t there more focus on adding these back to the daily school regimen? I could go on but I won’t, yes I am frustrated with it all.
