    14-gauge steel is 16.5% thicker than 16 gauge; 16 gauge is 33% thicker than 18 gauge.

  • Heavy Duty: 2 1/4" square legs connected through the tabletop core with 1/2" thick mounting plates and 3 countersunk bolts.
  • Scratch-Resistant: High-Pressure Laminate tops .050" thick with a .020" backer sheet on 45 lb. density particleboard.
  • Protective Banding: 3/4"-thick solid oak edge banding.
  • Extra Sturdy: Tables have two keels plus a 5th leg in the center, 90"x48" tables have 6 legs; 2 legs in the middle inset from the sides.
  • Expert Workmanship: Finished with a six-step process that begins with the applications of color and ends with two coats of lacquer.
